Here's what you will need:
- 2 couples of honey
- 2 couples of sugar
- 1 couple of butter
- 4 couples of flour
- 3 eggs
- 3 teaspoons of baking soda
- 125 ml of milk
- 0.5 teaspoons of salt
- 2 teaspoons of cocoa
- 1 packet of orange peel
- gingerbread spice.
RECIPE
1. The first thing to do is to melt sugar, honey and butter over low heat. Boil the ingredients and then leave to cool.
2. For previously cooled down slowly add other ingredients. Remember to dissolve the soda in milk and add it to the mass.
3. Mix the ingredients carefully! It is a difficult process because the gingerbread mass is thick.
4. Pour the gingerbread mass into a glass dish, cover it with a towel or kitchen paper so that it is well covered. Put the ready mass in the bottom drawer of the refrigerator 2-3 weeks before Christmas.
5. After 2-4 weeks, cut the dough into pieces and roll it out. Cut out crazy patterns - stars, Christmas trees, snowmen. Bake the gingerbread cookies at 180 degrees Celsius, option up and down, until the gingerbreads are golden brown.
6. Time for your creativity. After the gingerbread cookies have cooled down, decorate them with icing or kitchen markers.
MY TIPS!
It is best to store gingerbread in a glass dish as they can harden too much. You don't want to break your teeth, do you?
You can make the icing from egg white and powdered sugar. Blend the protein until stiff and gradually add the powdered sugar. Optionally, you can add lemon juice. Ready.
